Q: How many sessions are there in a year?

A: We offer year round classes and not by sessions. You can start a class at anytime and not miss anything!

Q: How much does a class cost?

A: This depends on the level, length of class and what season or session it is in.

Q: Do I have to pay the entire cost of the class upfront?

A: There are two payment options. 1) Pay the class and membership fee upfront or 2) Pay the membership and first month of tuition upfront, after that we can automatically pull the monthly tuition from your bank account. The second option is referred to as ACH. If you are interested in this payment option let the office know.

Q: Why do I have to pay a registration fee?

A: The registration fee is a one-time fee that takes care of the registration costs and also offers exclusive deals to our gym members.

Q: Does each of my children have a registration fee?

A: Yes, each child is required to be a member to take classes.

Q: What should my child wear to practice?

A: Comfortable athletic wear that is not baggy. Socks and shoes are not necessary. No jewelry. No gum. If your child has long hair they need to have it tied up and we recommend they bring a water bottle.

Q: How do I know what level my child should start in?

A: We offer a free trial class and an assessment will be done during the class to make sure your child is placed correctly.

Q: Can my child join in the middle of a session?

A: Yes, we will prorate the cost of the class based on the number of weeks your child will be participating.

Q: My child won’t be the required age for a certain level for another month; can they still join that class?

A: That may depend on the level. If you have a situation like this please contact us to discuss options.

Q: What if my child misses a class?

A: We offer each class level several times a week. If your child misses their usual day, they can come to a different class that week to make it up. Please call ahead so we know to expect them.

Q: What about holidays?

A: We do not hold classes on holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, etc.). There is a week off in our fall session for Christmas/New Year’s, which is not included into tuition prices. The office will be closed during these times as well.

Q: What if my child no longer wants to take the class?

A: It is up to you and your child if they no longer want to participate. However, we ask that you discuss this with your child’s coach to see if there’s a way we can help keep them in class. We do not offer refunds for class tuition, unless there are special circumstances.

Q: Are there discounts if I have multiple children in the classes?

A: Yes, if you sign up a second child they will receive 10% off their class tuition. If you sign up a third child, they will receive 15% off their class tuition.

Q: Will my child compete or perform?

A: Competition is only for the competitive teams we have at Starz. Joining a recreational class means your child will come to class once a week to learn skills. Parents and friends are more than welcome to view class from our large viewing area.
